Description

AudioKicker is an iphone app (android and blackberry coming soon) that lets users shake their phones to exchange music profiles and get a playlist back of similar tracks.

Details

We use the iphone and it's Bluetooth to connect 2 users locally and combine their itunes metadata stored locally on each iphone to create a union of musical tastes. We then expand the union using Echonet API's and the play.me API to retrieve streaming URL's. Lastly, we return the streaming playlist URL's to both users and present it for them to listen to at their leisure. 

BINGO - social playlist generation and collaboration based on user listening habits, no text input required by the users.
